Exaltation	We Value Authentic Worship We are committed to developing life-changing worship services that are God-centered, participatory, celebrative and challenging to worshipers in the totality of their being. Our worship style, intentionally designed for both believers and seekers, aims to be both culturally relevant and joyful in order to convey God’s joyous Good News to a world longing for it. We further uphold that God-honoring worship is a lifestyle of obedience, not simply a once-a-week event. We are committed to the priority of prayer as the ultimate expression of our individual and corporate dependence upon almighty God. We seek to lift high the name of Jesus Christ by emphasizing fresh and contemporary expressions while retaining traditional elements that recognize the richness of our heritage in the Christian faith. We encourage corporate worship and music reflective of the diversity of cultural expressions in our community.
Edification	We Value Truth We are committed to teaching the Word of God fully and accurately, with conviction and compassion to people of all ages. The goal of our public preaching and teaching is not merely to share Bible knowledge but rather to apply Scripture to daily living so that it leads to genuine life change. Motivated by the belief that God’s Word is fully sufficient for living our lives pleasing to God, we are committed to help people understand the Scriptures for themselves and to develop a biblical life-view that shapes how they live and think in today’s world. We are determined, as fellow members, to help one another learn and live out the Bible in our everyday lives.
Evangelism	We Value Lost People We are committed to loving, reaching and impacting lost people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire to be a growing church that continually reaches out to as many people as possible for Christ. We desire to show the relevancy of the gospel to our entire community through word and deed, by the bold proclamation of the gospel as well as through acts of servant evangelism. We are committed to training believers how to share their faith and pursue the lost for Christ. We seek to reach out to our community in a way that is relevant to non-Christians, is intellectually informed, and is relational in approach. We desire to connect with unchurched people as they are and where they are, meeting both their felt and spiritual needs. We believe that the most effective means of sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ is through life-changing relationships. Therefore, we are committed to developing and maintaining friendships with unchurched friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family members.
Encouragement	We Value Fellowship and Reconciliation We are committed to placing people above church programs. Thus we seek to cultivate healthy, loving, and personal relationships through every aspect of church life. We are also committed to biblical racial reconciliation and to demonstrating our oneness in Christ. We believe unity is best seen in diversity when the Word of God is the final authority over culture. We seek to bring people of all ages from various ethnic, cultural, and economic backgrounds together to fellowship in harmony around the cross of Christ. We believe small groups are one of the best ways to cultivate community, stimulate spiritual growth, and develop leaders. Thus we are committed to the building of small groups where believers can love, accept, serve, and encourage one another day by day.
Enrichment	We Value Growing Stronger We are committed to providing opportunities for individuals to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus and to develop a life of godliness and Christ-like character. Thus we expect all members to commit to attending our “life purpose” training classes in order to develop healthy habits and spiritual disciplines in their personal lives. We believe every Christian is a minister and that all believers should be serving/ discipling others. Thus we seek to equip and mobilize all believers within our circle of influence for the work of the ministry. We will pursue a strategy that encourages full employment in the church with each believer fully utilizing his/her spiritual gift(s) and passions for Christ. This also means our pastors will serve the entire church primarily as equippers of ministers, focusing on on-the-job training. We believe that a mark of a mature church, one that is growing both stronger and deeper, is the degree to which believers are engaging in effective ministry both within and outside the church. To accomplish this end, we are committed to simplified decision-making structures, and to work together, in harmony with godly servant-leaders.
Extension	We Value Impacting The World We are committed to reaching people beyond our immediate influence through global missions. Spreading the Gospel to unreached peoples worldwide is a priority to be reflected in our corporate strategy and budget. We believe that church planting within our own community as well as overseas is the best way to impact more people with the Gospel and to make disciples of Christ. Therefore, we are committed to parenting daughter churches.
Excellence	We Value Offering God Our Best We are committed to bringing glory to God. Therefore, in worship, ministry and in everything we do, we will seek both to pursue quality and to maintain a high standard of excellence in order to honor Him. In this pursuit, we also encourage teamwork, creativity, flexibility, and full commitment to Christ and His Church. Believing that focused excellence is better than broad mediocrity, we commit to pursue, above all else, biblical purposes for the church. All ministry is to be limited by our purposes, built on our God-given strengths, and done to the best of our ability, as unto the Lord. We believe that excellence, both corporate and individual, can best be achieved through obedient and sacrificial stewardship of all our resources (time, talent, and treasure) under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
