The Leadership Team


Pastor Tom and Charlene Hutchinson	Tom, with his wife Charlene, served faithfully in the past as Associate Pastor of Outreach, Small Groups and Worship at High Point Church in Larksville, PA. Pastor Tom came to Christ in 1976, early in his 20-year career in the U.S. Navy. He is a Master of Divinity graduate of Baptist Bible Seminary of Clarks Summit, PA. Tom met and married his high school sweetheart, Charlene, in Michigan where they both grew up. Tom and Char have two grown, married daughters and are the proud grandparents of four grandchildren, all living in Pennsylvania.
Associate Pastor Juan and Courtney Peña	Associate Juan Peña oversees the church’s Hope (small) Group and discipling ministry. Courtney, his wife, leads the “Kidz Zone” (children’s church) ministry on Sunday morning. Since Juan’s family is originally from Colombia, South America, and he is bi-lingual, Juan greatly desires to develop LHBC’s ministry to Hispanics. He has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts and is currently finishing up his seminary studies at Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA. The Peñas have two sons, Caleb and Micah. They moved to this area from Rhode Island to join the Living Hope leadership team.
